Late Sadhan Kumar Majumder, the founder of Majumder Group came to existence through Overseas Export Business, later this group has taken over Hotels & Resort, Construction & Development, Cold Store and Agricultural allied business.
In the year 1995 Majumder Group launched their first hotel project in the name & style of Kings Crown situated at VIP Road, Teghoria, Kolkata for the sole purpose providing “Home away from Home” services to the valued customers.
Mr. Partha Majumder the Chairman cum Managing Director of this group has taken pioneering step for vigorously expanding its core business in Hotel Industries.
Majumder Group’s first resort project at remote Mandarmoni in East Midnapore, was established in the year 2007 when it was not projected as an excellent sea beach.

Amresh ji, the head of the staff, was especially kind and accommodating. If you go to Kolkata Salt Lake, I definitely recommend staying at the King's Crown Hotel.
